Take only what the forest can spare
Amanita muscaria grows in partnership with living trees — it cannot be farmed, only gathered with care. So we harvest in a way that leaves the forest as strong as we found it, season after season.
How we protect the forests we depend on
Three rules guide every harvest. They make our work slower and more expensive — and they are the only way this lasts.
Mature caps only
We pick by hand, taking only fully grown caps and always leaving the mycelium — the living network beneath the soil — completely undisturbed.
Young specimens left to grow
Small and emerging mushrooms stay in the ground to mature and spread their spores, so each stand keeps regenerating naturally.
Sites rested and rotated
We never strip a location. A stand that gave generously one season is rested the next, so no single patch of forest is ever over-harvested.
Slower, smaller, and here for the long term
We would rather offer less and keep the forests thriving than harvest hard and lose them. Sustainable wild-harvesting is not a marketing line for us — it is the only way a business like ours still exists in twenty years.
